We just got our washing machine changed, too. The old one was claimed to be “energy-saving”, the outcome of trying to save some water is that it creates a lot of bubble every time, and we need to rinse 4 or 5 times before we can take clothes out. It takes more than one and a half hours to finish laundry, every time. Finally my dad got pissed, kicked it and broke the door.
He was afraid to tell my mom this, just said the mashine’s “broken”, my mom suspected and asked how could the machine just “broke” by itself, my dad just wont give a clear explanation. He spent another $500 and bought a new one, says how “wonderful” the new one is, and it can wash clothes without washing powder, but we’ve never try that function anyway– my dad hasnt figure out yet.
